Speaker: Phil Young
Phil Young is the owner of Fleet Feet Sports, a running specialty store in Davenport. Hailing from Davenport, he and his wife, Jackie, opened Fleet Feet Sports in March of 2016 out of a passion for the sport of running, and a desire to serve individuals in the Quad Cities through a professional, educational shoe fitting process, personal coaching services, group endurance training, and heavy community involvement. Phil has state and national coaching certifications, has worked with athletes ranging in age from junior high to retirement, and is experienced coaching all ability levels from beginning walkers to Boston Marathon qualifiers. Phil has completed an Ironman Triathlon, 20 marathons, and is currently training for the Hennepin Hundred, a 100 mile race in Western Illinois.
