New OB Interview

After you have a positive home pregnancy test, call our office to schedule your initial appointment. Your first OB appointment will be your interview appointment where you will meet with a nurse in-person or via telemedicine. During that visit, you will be asked to complete a genetic screening questionnaire which will help us evaluate your unborn baby. The nurse will go over all of our office policies and procedures, current pregnancy education, and they will get a thorough health history.

We would like to see you for your first appointment between 8-9 weeks gestation to be sure that you are able to take advantage of the screening blood tests that are offered at The Group. Once you have decided to see either the Physicians or the Certified Nurse Midwives, we will make a follow-up appointment with the provider about two weeks following the interview appointment. Follow up visits will be scheduled at four-week intervals and every 1-2 weeks during the last stages of pregnancy.
