Get to know Amanda

Amanda Phillips, PA-C, was born and raised in Morton, Illinois. She attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where she earned an undergraduate degree in Biology. Amanda also played softball all four years while at Central College. Go BIG RED! While receiving her undergraduate degree, Amanda worked as a phlebotomist in a family practice and OB clinic. This is where she truly fell in love with caring for women and thus what led her to choose a career in women's health. After earning her undergraduate degree, Amanda went on to earn a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Ambrose University.

"There is something so special about caring for women," says Phillips. "I love that I have the opportunity to care for them from their teenage years through to adulthood. There are so many issues that are unique to women and navigating these concerns with compassion is so important. I am truly honored to build these special, lifelong connections."

In her free time, Amanda enjoys exercising, running with her mini Australian shepherd, playing pickleball with her husband, trying new foods, and reading.
