Jana Van Rybroek, D.O.

Get to know Jana

Dr. Jana Van Rybroek grew up in Iowa City, Iowa, and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from University of St. Thomas. Before pursuing medicine, she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) at The University of Iowa. During this time, she also volunteered at a local women’s health clinic and with a rape victim advocacy program, experiences that deepened her passion for women’s healthcare and patient advocacy.

Dr. Van Rybroek earned her medical degree from Des Moines University and completed clinical rotations throughout the country, including Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Ohio, and Michigan. She then completed her residency training at a community-based hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, located just south of Flint.

At The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C., Dr. Van Rybroek is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to women in every stage of life. She values building strong relationships with her patients and helping them feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of work, Dr. Van Rybroek enjoys staying active through exercise and yoga and has completed six marathons. She also loves spending time with her two children, family, and friends!
