Dr. Jen Steines is a dedicated OB/GYN physician with a strong connection to the Quad Cities community and a passion for providing comprehensive women's healthcare through every stage of life.
A native of DeWitt, Iowa, Dr. Steines earned her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, where she was a student-athlete, competing in both basketball and softball for the BEES. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Following her residency, she remained at the University of Iowa for an additional two years as a staff physician, further expanding her clinical experience in women's healthcare.
In August 2014, Dr. Steines returned to the Quad Cities with her family, bringing her medical expertise back to the community she has always called home.
Dr. Steines provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with special interests in adolescent gynecology, contraceptive counseling, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of vulvar conditions. She also enjoys providing obstetric care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. She values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and help them feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of the office, Dr. Steines enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their two sons. An avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and lifelong sports enthusiast, she enjoys athletics of all kinds, but her greatest joy is spending quality time with her family.
